Sometimes wonderful things occur by accident. One more day in Marsala, a planned visit to the Saline Dello Stagnone and we decided to make a visit to deliver a gift. So, thanks to a T-Shirt that had travelled from Los Angeles to Marsala, we met an amazing artist, talented painter and highly qualified tattoo artist – and we don’t even mention the intelligent, funny and available guy he is. His name is Fabio Ingrassia (L’Arte del Tattoo!), and many fans of Il Volo know him as the official tattooist of Ignazio Boschetto of Il Volo. – Read in English
A volte le cose meravigliose accadono per caso. Un altro giorno a Marsala, una visita organizzata alle Saline Dello Stagnone e abbiamo deciso di recarci a consegnare un regalo. Yesterday evening October 18, 2015, Il Volo took part to the Gala evening for the 40 years of activity of the renowned foundation of the Italian Americans, the NIAF (National Italian American Foundation).
The event began with a speech from Pat Harrison, President and CEO of Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) and Vice Chair of NIAF.
The black-tie gala evening had among the highlights the wonderful performance of the Washington National Chorus, the speech given by Chazz Palmintieri who reminded the audience of NIAF mission to help the young Italian Americans, and the performance of the pop opera trio Il Volo that beautifully closed the evening. The young Italian singers amazed the audience with a great rendition of Grande Amore and Volare.
Ieri sera 18 ottobre 2015, Il Volo ha preso parte alla serata di Gala per i 40 anni di attività della rinomata fondazione degli italoamericani, la NIAF (National Italian American Foundation).
L ‘evento è iniziato con un discorso di Pat Harrison, presidente e CEO della Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) e Vice Chair della NIAF.
La serata di gala ha avuto, fra i momenti clou, la meravigliosa esibizione del Washington National Chorus, il discorso fatto da Chazz Palmintieri ricordando al pubblico la missione della NIAF, che consiste nell’aiutare i giovani italoamericani, e l’esibizione del trio pop lirico Il Volo che ha chiuso la serata in modo stupendo. I giovani cantanti italiani hanno meravigliato il pubblico con una grande interpretazione di Grande Amore e Volare.
