Reporter: «Roseto has a new ambassador in the world, is Gianluca Ginoble of Il Volo, honorary citizenship to the other two members of the popular trio. Ginoble, authentic abruzzese, from Montepagano of Roseto received from the Mayor Enio Pavone the ambassador sash (with the national flag tricolour) during the city council. The two components of the popular trio, Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto, both Sicilians, were nominated honorary citizens along with the manager Michele Torpedine. Together with the guys and their families, there was also the journalist Marino Bartoletti, that considers Gianluca, Ignazio and Piero, like his little grandchildren. Tonight at 9 p.m., Il Volo will perform at La Civitella in Chieti.»

Gianluca: «I never could imagine that after few years, my life could change like this, I walked these streets, playing football in Roseto, in Montepagano, where I live, life changes, when you least expect it, and today, I am an ambassador of this city and of my land.»
Reporter: «You, practically, already live in symbiosis. How is living, be together round the clock? What are the most difficult moments and what are the best things?»
Piero: «Look, in any relationship, if there is love, everything is easy. Between us, (all three together) there is truly love, we love each other like three true brothers, then even in the most difficult of our days, we can get through.»
Reporter: «But if you have to say something to the guys that want to take up your career, follow in your footsteps… What would you say to them now?»
Ignazio: «To believe in dreams. But this goes without saying. Perhaps to have fun, when a person makes music should have fun, as in everything.»

Reporter: «You said that you travelled 800 km just to be here.»
Marino Bartoletti: «Oh well, I would have travelled even more, sincerely, because I really love them and this love isn’t less than the professional respect that I have for them. Someone asked me: “What advice would you give to them?” I would give this: don’t ever change.»

Reporter: «(Here we are) with the Mayor of Roseto, Enio Pavone…»
Mayor Enio Pavone: «We wanted to call an extraordinary city council, I requested the summons right after the victory of the trio Il Volo in Sanremo, then in February 2015, depending on the commitments of the artists, this evening we are here glad to have all three guys of the trio Il Volo to which the city of Roseto wants to give an official recognition and therefore Gianluca Ginoble will be appointed as ambassador of the city of Roseto in the world and we will award the honorary citizenship of Roseto to Piero and Ignazio

Anchorwoman: «Sold out at La Civitella of Chieti, great enthusiasm for the tonight Il Volo concert and yesterday celebration in Roseto for the assignment of the honorary citizenship to the three winners of the Sanremo Festival, Gianluca Ginoble received also the title of ambassador of the city in the world. Here is the report.»

Reporter: «The Il Volo night is arrived, the long wait is about to end, this evening the three winners of the Sanremo Festival 2015, will take the stage of La Civitella of Chieti, the event is already sold out for weeks, 4,000 tickets sold in a short time. The focus is on the home favorite, Gianluca Ginoble from Roseto degli Abruzzi, the three guys are already international stars, but their wish was to succeed also in Italy: wish granted after the success in the Sanremo Song FestivalIl Volo was the first Italian group to sign a contract with a major record company in the United States and among other the only Italian artists invited by Quincy Jones to “We are the world for Haiti”, together with 80 international stars. The audience is waiting for them with open arms, the success in Italy now matchs the international one. Meanwhile last night, an extraordinary city council in Roseto degli Abruzzi, where Gianluca Ginoble, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and their manager Michele Torpedine, received the honorary citizenship of the city where Gianluca was born. A river of people for the three guys that were quite obviously touched, an important ceremony for them and for Roseto’s people, that saw their fellow-citizen growing up and never stop to remember the love for his city.»
Gianluca: «We have two mayors!»
