Piero Barone Ambassador of Naro in the world

Piero Barone Ambassador of NaroNaro, storia di una favola che continua: Piero Barone Ambasciatore della città barocca nel mondo – on Canicatti Web (August 31, 2014)

The amazing news that yesterday went through all networks, today was published on Canicatti Web:

Naro, the story of a fairy tale continues: Piero Barone Ambassador of the baroque city in the world

An initiative that the community of Naro already expected. We did not you realize on what way, neither with such boundaries, but it was the belief of all that something had to be done: a well-deserved tribute to a young fellow, Piero Barone, who, in a short time span, achieved success and popularity worldwide.

A tribute to the merit, the excellence of this great talent with the face of a young boy with a nicely ironic and sincere air. The idea came from the cultural-environmental “IDEAFOLLE” Association of Naro, the proposal of the project “Piero Barone, Ambassador of Naro in the World”, greeted with enthusiasm and conviction by the Town Council, led by the Mayor, Dr. Lillo Cremona, who took the responsibility of the nomination.

The date of the event will be determined considering the commitments of the trio, of which the young artist is a part. The successes of Il Volo are now history: they were already fifteen when taking flight: in a few years have charmed, moved and established a remarkable series of records. The first Italian artists in history to sign a contract with Geffen, label of American Universal group; the only Italians invited to “We Are The World for Haiti”, along with 80 international stars including Celine Dion, Bono, Lady Gaga, Carlos Santana, Barbra Streisand, Enrique Iglesias, Usher, Natalie Cole, Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas; special guests as well on the Sanremo Festival.

Success after success, the story continued and on April 24, 2014 at the Bank United Center in Miami, Il Volo was warded with the prestigious Latin Billboard Music Awards, for Best Group of the year in the category Latin Pop Albums.

Paura D’Amare – Duo Sisters

Puntata completa: Festival di Castrocaro 2014 – finale – (a 1h:35:00)

Paura d’Amare

Paura D’Amare – Duo Sisters

Complete episode: Festival di Castrocaro 2014 – finals – (on 1h:35:00)

Paura d’Amare (versione corta)

Fear of love (short version)

You’re running away, why don’t you try to love me?
Just think in tomorrow…
Why? You seek only an excuse to escape
from this fear of living with me
Pain is what I will remember of you …

I believed in both of us, I did not think you would go away
By the fear of making me suffer
you loose me, now it is too late
The anger will appease the suffering and sorrow
that keeps me from flying and to give up of you, of you…
Fear of living with you, listen to me and I will born again.

Il Volo and the artists of their land

On the concerts in Taormina on the last July 20 and 21, Il Volo brought to our attention many artists that almost all of us – outside Italy – had never met before. It was amazing to know this talented people and to see how Il Volo recognizes the artists of their land.

Today is Thursday, traditional throwback day, and All About Il Volo wants to highlight the artists who collaborate with Il Volo in the concerts of Taormina.

Gino de Vita and Ignazio BoschettoGino de Vita – musician, guitarist, composer and arranger of Marsala. Gino was the arranger and director of the orchestra on the first concert of Ignazio Boschetto in 2009.

He also performed with Ignazio and Roberto Amadè in their concert in Marsala on February 2, 2014. Now, along with Ignazio he is working with the Duo Sisters to the finals of Castrocaro Festival. In Taormina, Gino plays the guitar in Memory, sung by Ignazio Boschetto.

Daniele Falasca and Gianluca Ginoble in concert in TaorminaDaniele Falasca – Pianist, accordionist and composer of Abruzzo. In love with music since his childhood, Daniele won several musical contests. He collaborated with many prestigious bands and artists in Italy. In Taormina, Daniele collaborated with Gianluca Ginoble in Anema e Core.

Daniele Falasca released 5 Albums, including his new Album – Insieme a Te.

Sicilia in FolkSicilia in Folk – a folk group of Regalbuto, Sicily.

“If you hear a music made with strange instruments such as the “quartara”, the screeching sound of a “Sicilian whistle”, that binds together the accordion refrains and repeats highlights of the traditional music of the shepherds and peasants, typical of the Sicilian rural world, accompanied by guitar and tambourine, that is the group Sicilia in Folk of Regalbuto which, with mastery, recalls movements and dances, reviving the spirituality of the rural world of the South. [Santangelo Franco]”

Sicilia in Folk – Aldo Scialfa, Salvo Scialfa, Giuseppe Russo, Alfio Pesce, Vito Spampinato – made an amazing collaboration with Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto in the Il Volo concert in Taormina. They performed the beautiful song “E vui durmiti ancora“.

We really love how Il Volo share their concerts with other artists and, therefore, spreads the culture of their land around the world.

Festival di Castrocaro – Duo Sisters and a song composed by Ignazio Boschetto

Duo Sisters on the final of Castrocaro 2014Italy is full of music and who knows the history of Il Volo not only after Ti Lascio Una Canzone, but also the individual lifeline of Piero, Ignazio and Gianluca, knows about their early participation on Festivals, Contests and many other events. A brief research on our archives will show many moments on their career before Il Volo, moments that helped to build what today amaze all of us.

They had being participating on festivals and musical contests since then, no more as singers, but as special guests. And, now, Ignazio amazed us, composing songs that new artists carry with competence in important events. Everybody remember Ignazio’s “Come in paradiso” presented on Sanremo D.O.C. And now, he is again in a final of one of more prestigious musical events in Italy with a song.

This week we are near another final of a traditional festival: the festival of “Voci Nuove Volti Nuovi”, better known as “Festival di Castrocaro”, now on its 57º edition. This festival dates back to 1957 and had a great highlight on the decades of 1960 and 1970, when many important artists were launched from the festival. Among the great artists launched from the festival we can find Zucchero, Laura Pausini and Eros Ramazzotti.

The contest occurs in many steps. From a initial selection, passing by the Academy, where the future contestants learn from qualified artists and technicians, singers, musicians and producers and are selected to the quarter finals,  semifinals and then for the great final. Really a hard test of talent involving about 600 contestants.

Chiara and GiorgiaChiara Cusumano and Giorgia Vassalo  won all this steps in 2014 and now the Duo Sisters are going to the finals. RAI 1 is airing the episodes where 10 contestants where selected for the great final: Objetivo Castrocaro 2014.

For those that do not remember the Duo Sisters were special guests and performed on the opening of the concert Amadè-Boschetto on February 2, 2014. This talented girls climbed all the steps and will be on the great final of the Festival de Castrocaro on August 30, 2014. The show will be conducted by Pupo, with Gigi D’Alessio, Anna Tatangelo, Giancarlo Magalli and Gigliola Cinquetti on the jury. RAI 1 will broadcast Live the final of the Festival di Castrocaro.

On an interview to Fattiitaliani, Giorgia and Chiara talked about their career, specially concerning the participation on the Festival di Castrocaro, their main goal at this moment. For the final they will perform “Un amore così grande” (Guido Maria Ferilli) and the unheard “Paura d’amare”. “Paura d’amare“, which have a long story according to Chiara and Giorgia, maybe a great surprise and a new milestone not only on the career of the Duo Sisters. According to Marsala C’è (published also on Marsala Sport) “Paura d’amare” is a song composed by Ignazio Boschetto.

Amazing news! News that had the preview weeks ago when Ignazio Boschetto and Gino de Vita shared  a photo and talked about a ‘work in progress’ with the Duo Sisters. Now the work is ready to shine. Ignazio with the song and arrangements, Gino with the guitars.

This is an awesome news and we will stay close and alert. Ignazio is a talented singer and song writer and more and more his work will be on highlight. All About Il Volo wishes all the best to Chiara and Giorgia on the finals of the Festival di Castrocaro.
