In March of 2013 in Miami, Il Volo recorded two DVD for the PBS. The DVD Il Volo – We are Love with the songs of the Album and Il Volo – Buon Natale: Live From the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater, a DVD with an awesome selection of Christmas songs.
In February of 2013 they are nominated to receive the Latin Billboard Music Awards on the category New Artist – Pop Latin Group Album. Even not winning the award, on April 25th they performed the song El Triste as guests on the ceremony of the Latin Billboards 2013, as a tribute to the singer José José.
On May 28, 2013 it was released the Spanish version of their Album: the CD Más Que Amor, along with a special edition of the Album We Are Love. On June 16th they performed on 40th Emmy Awards. On July 19th in Italy they performed on the concert Scala incontra New York, with the participation of the Maestro Giuseppe Vessicchio.
On August 4th at Piazza Brindisi in Catanzaro (Calabria), Il Volo performed during the Magna Graecia Film Festival, including a duet with Paul Sorvino. Soon after, on August 6th along with Michele Torpedine they both received special awards during the edition of “Premio Letterario Caccuri 2013” after a performance in Castle di Caccuri. On September 6th in the United States, Il Volo performed on the Audrey Hepburn Society Ball (Unicef USA) and on October 22nd they released Buon Natale: The Christmas Album.
From August to November of 2013, Il Volo made a great tour throw the US, Canada and Latin America: the We Are Love and Más Que Amor tours, with 48 concerts almost all sold out. The group is conqueiring each day more popularity and fame thanks to their amazing music and their breathtaking performances of the “three voices, one soul”.
In December, the PBS show “Buon Natale” was aired on several cities with the presence of Il Volo on many events, just before they leave the US. Highlights to their presentation on the Disney Parade, on December 6th (aired on December 25th). On December 10 they returned to Italy and on December 15th they performed on the magnificent XXVIII Christmas concert in Assisi, on the Basilica di San Francesco, along with many international artists. The solemn event which had the participation of the Italian authorities, was aired on December 25 by RAI 1. On December 15th they were interviewed and performed on the TV show Domenica In on RAI 1 and on December 17th they made a mythical performance on Edicola Fiore when, with the improvised chorus of the audience of the Rosario Fiorello’s Live show, they sang the traditional Sicilian song Tirichitolla in a very special version: the news appeared on the pages of many newspapers in Italy. On the same day they enchanted the audience of the show Porta a Porta.
