
Il Volo on Istituto Rizzoli
The ‘tre tenorini’ that conform Il Volo, Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble put on the doctors coats and along with the members of the Ansabbio Association have visited the young patients recovering at the Rizzoli Institute in Bologna. It has been one of the many acts of the “star-therapy” organised by “Doctor Smile”, the physiotherapist Cirrone Dario, president of Ansabbio, which in the past 15 years has promoted many visits of this nature. “I couldn’t believe when Giampiero Malena, manager of many artists, called me to propose me the presence of the three stars in favor of the little patients” told Cirrone. To greet the three, many doctors of the Rizzoli, and the most exciting moment was when the young tenors sang “O Sole Mio” and “Un Amore cosí grande” specially dedicated to the children. Barone, Boschetto and Ginoble left to receive the “Premio per la musica” in Verona. Their debut album was ranked in the 10th place of the Best Sellers charts in the United States. The producer of the trio, Michele Torpedini, – has referred Cirrone – has guaranteed the presence of the group in the next Natale concert. (Ansabbio, May 28, 2014)
